The General Assembly is the maximum authority of the cooperative and is composed by the associates that are 70 people nowadays.

The agreements taken in ordinary and extraordinary assemblies, as being of free and democratic expression of the majority, are of an obligatory observance for the rest of the members of the cooperative.

In the assembly each associate has voice and vote; in addition to the right of petition which consists of the possibility of requesting to any of the three direction bodies, or to the general management, information on its agreements and performances.

COOPETRABASUR celebrates in March of every year, their ordinary assembly and in the month of September an extraordinary assembly; in this last one it is informed about the business advances reached up to half period, reports from the general management and a summary of the most important agreements taken by the Administration Council and the Committees of Monitoring and Education are presented.

The General Assembly of Associates can be summoned in an extraordinary way at any moment when the circumstances require it.

This organ has the power to know and to resolve about the reports of the Administration Council, General Management, Committees and Commissions, in addition, it knows the annual plan of activities and budget to the operations and investments among others.

It is also responsibility of the General Assembly, to resolve about the labor remuneration to the associates and to name the members of the Administration Council, Committees of Education and Monitoring and the Commissions.
