Since the last days of April, a group of COOPETRABASUR associates organized themselves to look after the union’s goods in response to constant infrastructure theft both in the offices, as well as in the plantations.
Thieves would take advantage of the lack of surveillance to take material that they would sell as remains, thus affecting the union’s productive activity.
Since the associates organized themselves to look after COOPETRABASUR’s resources, the amount of theft has decreased, which the communities of Caucho, Caimito and Tamarindo view with optimistic eyes. |
Infrastructure was the object of theft. |
The surveillance team also expanded to community households with the goal of looking after the belongings of the people who live there.
Hoping to train this surveillance team, the union let local authorities know about the mentioned efforts with the goal of counting on adequate assessment in regards to surveillance topics and legal issues.
The union’s security team is constantly communicating with authorities and having permanent meetings, so that the area’s security is enhanced and also to guarantee the wellbeing of COOPETRABASUR. |
